Ordinances saved from repeal

Section: 1-12

Nothing in this Code or the ordinance adopting this Code shall affect any ordinance or other action of the city which:

(1)

Promises or guarantees the payment of money for the city, authorizes the issuance of any bonds of the city or any indebtedness of the city or any contract or obligation assumed by the city;

(2)

Grants any right or franchise or approves any contract;

(3)

Dedicates, names, establishes, locates, relocates, opens, paves, widens or vacates any street or public way in the city;

(4)

Pertains to the annual budget or any appropriation;

(5)

Prescribes traffic regulations for specific locations, prescribes through streets, parking prohibitions, parking limitations, one-way traffic, limitations on load of vehicles, or loading zones;

(6)

Amends the zoning map on file in the office of the city clerk;

(7)

Establishes and prescribes the street grades of any street in the city;

(8)

Provides for local improvements and the assessment of taxes therefor;

(9)

Dedicates or accepts any plat or subdivision in the city;

(10)

Grants to railroad companies the right to construct spur railroad tracks in the city;

(11)

Authorizes any encroachment on any city or public property;

(12)

Was converted to ordinance status by the Charter or the Municipal Home Rule Powers Act (F.S. Ch. 166);

all of which ordinances shall continue in full force and effect in the city as if set out fully in this Code.
