Delegation of administrative authority

The official may appoint officers, inspectors and assistant inspectors to assist in the administration and enforcement of the provisions of this Code. Any duty or act in this Code authorized or required of the official may be performed by any of his assistants or employees when authorized by the official. The official may designate representatives who shall have the power, duty and responsibility to administer and enforce the provisions of this Code.
