Definitions; words not defined

(a)

Words not defined in this Code shall have the meaning stated in the documents, standards and/or manuals adopted elsewhere in this Code. Words not so defined shall have the meaning stated in the Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary, as revised.

(b)

The official shall be the final authority as to the meaning and interpretation of any word or term in question.
