Maintenance of records; filing fees

(a)

The clerk shall prepare the form of all affidavits, amendments, and certificates required to be filed under this article. The clerk shall maintain a record of all affidavits, amendments, and certificates filed pursuant to this article.

(b)

Hillsborough County, Florida, has established a domestic partnership registry law that is substantially similar to the City of Tampa's Domestic Partnership registry code provisions through passage of Ordinance No. 14-32, codified in Chapter 30, Article III of the Hillsborough County Code of Ordinances and Laws. Having been approved by the Tampa City Council, the filing officer for the Domestic Partnership Registry shall be the Hillsborough County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Persons interested in filing as domestic partners may continue to do so through the City Clerk to be registered county-wide with Hillsborough County.
