Noise and disturbance of the peace
Section: 16-48
In addition to the provisions set forth in Chapter 19 (Property Maintenance and Structural Standards) and Chapter 14 (Offenses) the following regulations shall apply:
(a)
No person shall use any loudspeaker or other electrical amplifying equipment nor shall any person play upon any electrically amplified musical instrument in any department managed land unless such activity is conducted as an incidental activity to a public meeting or assembly for which a facility rental is approved. Compliance with all department rules and regulations and facility use requirements or conditions must be met.
(b)
No person operating a vehicle or vessel within a department managed land shall, at any time, fail to use a muffler and or other sound-deadening device.
(c)
No person within a department managed land shall disturb the peace of others by violent, tumultuous, or obstreperous conduct, or by loud noises, or by vulgar or obscene language or conduct, or assault, strike, or fight another, or in any way breach the peace.
