Penalty for violation

In accordance with chapter 1, section 1-6 of the City of Tampa Code, it is unlawful for any person to violate or fail to comply with any provision of this Code and, where no specific penalty is provided therefore, the violation of any provision of this Code shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) and/or imprisonment for a term not exceeding sixty (60) days and/or a term of probation not to exceed six (6) months, as set forth in section 1-6.1, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day any violation of any provision of this Code shall continue shall constitute a separate offense. Parents and/or guardians shall be held responsible and accountable for the actions of minors in regard to the prohibitions of this chapter as provided by law.
