No referendum required for park related uses, public purpose uses, or governmental uses; renewal of certain leases; and public utility easements
Section: 16-93
Notwithstanding the provisions of section 16-92, a referendum of electors of the city shall not be required to lease dedicated park property for park related uses, public purpose uses, or governmental uses, renewal of leases which were in effect as of December 19, 1985, or public utility easements. In the event the city desires to lease a dedicated park property for park related uses, public purpose uses, or governmental uses, the city shall provide written notice to the surrounding property owners and the applicable neighborhood and civic associations in the manner set forth in Chapter 27, Zoning Code.
