Establishment of criminal justice training programs and school crossing guard program

(a)

There is hereby established criminal justice education degree programs and training courses as provided in F.S. § 943.25(13), including basic training of police department recruits, officers and support personnel. The chief of police shall administer the programs and courses.

(b)

There is hereby established a city school crossing guard program as stated in F.S. § 318.21. The chief of police shall administer the program.
