Divulging information included in tax reports or returns
Section: 24-4
It is unlawful for the director of finance or any other officer or employee of the city to divulge or make known in any manner the amount of sales, income or any particulars set forth or disclosed in any report or return made or required by or of any person for the purpose of providing the city with information to assist in determining any license tax assessment, except in accordance with proper judicial order or as otherwise provided by law. Such returns and applications showing sales or income shall not be inspected by any person, except for an officer or other person duly authorized by law or directed to do so by order of a court of competent jurisdiction.
