Restraining and enjoining violations
Section: 24-73
Any person who violates any of the provisions of this article or who fails to pay fuel oil taxes and all interest and penalties due by him to the city, under the provisions of this article, may be restrained and enjoined in a suit or other proceeding in any court of competent jurisdiction instituted in the name of the city, at the direction of the official, from selling, consuming, using, distributing or transporting any fuel oils which are taxable under the laws of this article, until such person shall have paid all of the taxes and penalties due the city. Any proceeding instituted under this section shall not operate as a bar to the prosecution of any person guilty of violating any of the criminal laws of this state which are specified within this article.
