Alcohol sales and consumption at special event

Section: 28-28

The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages during a special event shall be subject to the requirements set forth in chapter 3 and chapter 27 of this Code. If the location has received an alcoholic beverage special use permit—temporary, a copy of the detailed boundary description of the area receiving the special use permit, and the graphic (sketch) that depicts the boundaries of where alcohol may be consumed ("consumption area") must be posted at each AB sales area. If the boundaries of the event are not defined by identifiable above grade or vertical fixtures or structures (i.e. outer edge of pavement/sidewalk, water's edge, curb line) then the boundaries of the consumption area must be fenced or gated.
