Ownership of burial spaces or rights

A new deed cannot be issued to replace a deed, which is lost or destroyed. No person shall be considered as the rightful owner of any burial space unless he or she is in possession of a duly executed deed or other legal document. If a deed or other legal document cannot be presented, then the books of the parks and recreation department shall be considered as a final in determining ownership of any block, lot or space.
