Home Inspector Licensing in Esto, Florida
Who Needs a License
A home inspector in Florida must be licensed to perform home inspections for compensation. Under Fla. Any person offering home inspection services in Esto or Holmes County for a fee must hold a valid state license.
Work that requires licensing includes inspecting the structural integrity, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, roofing, and other major components of residential properties. This applies regardless of whether you operate as a sole proprietor, employee, or corporation.
