Who Needs a License

How to Get Licensed
State Application and Examination:

- For a sales associate: You must be 18 years old, a high school graduate or equivalent, and sponsored by a licensed Florida broker before applying.
- For a broker: You must have been an active real estate sales associate for at least 24 months during the preceding 5-year period, or have equivalent experience.
- Complete required continuing education before license issuance and maintain active status through annual renewals and continuing education requirements.
