Who Needs a License

4. Apply with CILB, providing proof of experience, education, and identification.

5. Pass the CILB-administered exam covering plumbing code, safety, and technical knowledge.

6. Receive your license from the state (valid statewide, including Olga CDP).

Applicants must also meet any additional qualifications specified in Fla. Stat. § 489.113, including citizenship or legal residency requirements and a clean criminal record (subject to board discretion).
