Plumbing Licensing in Rainbow Lakes Estates CDP, Florida
Who Needs a License
Any person who engages in plumbing work in Rainbow Lakes Estates must hold a Florida construction industry license. Under Fla. Stat. § 489.105, "plumbing" is defined as the practice, business, or work of installing, altering, repairing, or maintaining pipes, fixtures, and appliances for the conveyance and use of water, gas, or sewage. Work involving water supply systems, drainage, venting, or gas piping all require licensure.

- Apply to CILB through the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).
- Pass the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board plumbing exam, which tests knowledge of the Florida Building Code and plumbing regulations.
