Who Needs a License

Under Florida law, any person who installs, maintains, repairs, or services water conditioning equipment must hold a valid license issued by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board. [Fla. 5. Pay the applicable licensing fee to CILB

The CILB issues and renews all water conditioning licenses. License renewal occurs every two years and requires proof of continued insurance.
