Section: 29-51

(a)

The city commission may summarily revoke a construction permit under this article for cause, including, but not limited to, fraud in the petition or application for a permit, damage, trespass, depreciation or unlawful use by the applicant, or construction not in accordance with the plans submitted and approved by the resilience and public works department.

(b)

In addition to the above summary revocation, any construction permit provided for may be revoked by the city commission for a departure from or violation of any of its terms, after written notice of intention to do so has been sent to the applicant by certified mail and an opportunity for a hearing before the city commission has been made available to him/her.
