Materials

Permanent materials shall include concrete, steel, stone masonry construction, fiber reinforced or high-performance plastics, or any combination of the same. Other materials not specifically covered herein may be permitted, subject to the approval of the building department. Reinforced concrete shall be of the materials, proportions, strength and consistency set forth in the Florida Building Code, as also shall the materials, design and fabrication in the erection of steel.
