Exemptions

The provisions of this article shall not apply to or affect reporters, photographers, or camera operators in the employ of a newspaper, news service, radio or television broadcasting station, or similar entity engaged in live broadcasting or on-the-spot reporting of sports events or news events concerning those persons, scenes, or occurrences which are in the news and of general public interest.
