Recognition of expense in regulation of rates
Section: 56-33
All reasonable expense incurred by a seller of public services other than telecommunications services and all reasonable expenses in excess of the compensation to the seller of telecommunications services set forth in subsection (d) of section 56-29 incurred by a seller of telecommunications service in making the collections and remittances and in fulfilling the duties prescribed by this article is hereby declared to be and to constitute an operating expense and shall be accorded full recognition as such in the establishment of rates and charges for rendering electricity, metered gas, bottled gas, fuel oil, telecommunications service or water service in the city.
