Who Needs a License

For Brokers:
1. Hold or have held a current Florida sales associate license
2. Complete 72 hours of broker pre-licensing education from an approved provider
3. Pass the Florida Real Estate Broker Exam
4. Have at least one year of experience as a licensed sales associate within the five-year period before application
5. Apply directly to DBPR
6. Pay applicable fees and pass background screening
