Who Needs a License
Florida law requires licensing for persons who engage in the construction, repair, or maintenance of sewage and water systems. Under Fla. Stat. § 489.105, "sewer contractor" and "water contractor" are defined as individuals or entities performing work on these utility systems that affects public health and safety.
