Disputes regarding construction and effect of an interlocal service boundary agreement.

If there is a question or dispute about the construction or effect of an interlocal service boundary agreement, a local government shall initiate and proceed through the conflict resolution procedures established in chapter 164. If there is a failure to resolve the conflict, no later than 30 days following the conclusion of the procedures established in chapter 164, the local government may file an action in circuit court. For purposes of this section, the term âlocal governmentâ means a party to the interlocal service boundary agreement.
